T'it'qet had hired me to produce a video that would tell a story about T'it'q'ets 7 Sacred Values that had been created as part of their constitution. I then worked with them with initial planning, scheduling interviews, scouting locations and formulating the type of message the video would like to convey. I then gathered a team that would help in cinemaphotography, drone operation, sound production, and post production. My job was to manage and direct the whole video from start to finish. Some of the work included helping our Director of Photographer (D.O.P) capture the shots we needed, camera operation, setting up lighting, sound, and working with community members in interviews and directing them for each action shot. I then took these shots and worked with our editor on telling the story by recommending certain shots, dialogue and format. I also put together an edit of a trailer, which would be used to promote the community premiere, which was held in the community. Please see trailer and full documentary below:
